It wasn't long after the release of CM 01/02 that players began to realise just how good one particular formation worked in this installment of the franchise. The formation in question was 4-1-3-2, which was located at the very bottom of the formations list within the tactics screen. Whilst your team might not keep a lot of clean sheets using this very aggressive and attacking tactic, it would score plenty of goals, if you had the right players, and would provide the basis for a very successive save.
I powered up my old CM 03/04 game recently and remembered there was a 'cheat' tactic called 'Diablo' something or other. I DO NOT want to use this tactic although I would like to know what the tactic was exactly (Formation, player and team instructions please) so I can avoid it. I have searched on google for it, but all I can find are a couple of threads from other forums just talking about it and a download from some website from Turkey. So if anyone could tell me exactly what the Tactic was I will be very grateful.
Cm 01 02 diablo tactic
It's definitely a MC with a loony run forward to the SC position. The defenders can't cope with it, apparently. There was a whole load of threads about it in the tactics forum here once, I don't know if they're still around.
I used this tactic back in the day and thought I was really good at the game because I was thrashing every team in sight. Found out many years later after I got the internet that it was a flaw with the game!
The tactic involved having 2 strikers with sideways arrows and using an AMC just behind them with a forward arrow running into the space created by the 2 strikers pulling the 2 DCs out wide. The ME couldnt cope with that and the AMC will score bucketloads of goals. Remember Oskarsson?
A tactic thats good but not invincible is 4-3-1-2. Have the 3 midfielders in the middle with the 2 on the outside running straight up to the attacking midfield area.If your losing or drawing late on and need a goal get the attacking midfielder to run up between the strikers.
I found 4-3-3 to be my most successful formation. You'll need to build a team based around pace and stamina so it might take a couple of seasons to find the right players. In your instrutions section have both full backs on forward runs and crossing the ball. In your midfield three the central one has to be a CDM who has good passing and strength. Either side of him you'll need 2 creative and fast players. The 2 outer midfielders should be on forward runs, running with the ball and long shots. The CDM should be on no forward runs and high defensive pressure. Your front three need to be on running with the ball and low defensive pressure. As for the players in those positions the faster the better, good dribbling skills and high quality finishing. Ideally you'll want three attackers who can play multiple positions across the front line. You should score a lot of goals with this formation if you have attaking tactics with short passing, your defence won't be the best but like I said you'll score lots of goals especially with your front three
As always, you will need to mould these tactics around the players you have in your save, and make sure they suit the players you have. If you have slower, less athletic, but very skilled players, a slower, possession-based tactic will probably suit your team best. Likewise, if you have a lot of very athletic players, an attacking, high-pressing system should work better for you.
For example, a player like Kylian Mbappé will have tries to beat offside trap, which means he will look to stretch defences regardless of instruction. Player traits can nail the minute details for your tactic.
This tactic was super effective in FM21, and not much has changed in FM22. The 4-1-5 is a high-scoring, direct, aggressive tactic that will take energy out of your players, but deliver results in equal measure as it suffocates the opposition team.
This will depend on your personnel more than anything. It seems largely superfluous to this tactic though, which probably only needs tinkering with the player roles to suit your squad. If your Trequartista has good long shots, shoot more often could be useful.
This tactic was initially created to sort-of imitate the way in which Nordsjælland play in real life, or at least use the same formation. Gegenpress, as you may know, is quite powerful in FM22, but it can knacker players out over time.
Dominating possession requires two things: the right tactical instructions, and technically excellent players. Try using shorter passing and a lower tempo for starters. While player roles like the half-back suit a possession-based system very well.
Gegenpressing will primarily require two things: the right tactical instructions, and very quick, athletic players. Try cranking up the tempo, your defensive lines, turn counter-press on and ensure your team are pressing as much as possible.
Player instructions is probably the most involved aspect of the formations and tactics screens. For each position on the pitch there are a set of default instructions. These can be removed or added to, depending on the player, the opposition and the style of play you wish to dictate to your players.
So in this post you will see; How to assemble a Tactic (What training to use) Instructions for the team Screen with Ball (WTB) Screen without Ball (WOB) IodineCF, Guga Bara None of that, assemble your tactic After bringing you the Falcao Garcia, a contractless teenager who can be a huge reinforcement for his team, today we will see a quick guide on tactics.

In the middle, we have two Segundo Volantes. So, for these positions the most important is to have players with great stamina, passing tackling, and work rate.If you use this FM tactic then you really need fast central defenders as this is another tactic with a very high defensive line.It would be really great to have defenders with good passing skills as they are involved in creating actions as Ball Playing Defenders do.
OOoooOO Knap is on fire! That`s something all of us can sing every time Knap makes an FM tactic like this. This tactical magician made another great FM20 tactic, but this time in formation 4-2-3-1.We tested it with many clubs with different club visions, and in different leagues and we can say that it deserves to be on this list.
This tactic is different from the others. You will have 4 players in defense with uncommon duties. 2 WBs with attack duties, and 2 CBs as Ball Playing Defenders. The first two will run forward often to make low crosses that will cause many problems to your opponent. The BPDs will pass into space, sometimes long balls so your forwards will always be active even if the tempo is set to slightly lower. This is why you can expect total soccer.
All the players from the defense will contribute the attackers, but also you will see your midfielders help your defense by making pressure on the opponent`s attackers. With this attacking tactic, you will score a lot of goals. It is very important to have good Inverted Forwards, but also your PF should be a goal-getter. You will see a lot of goals after your PF and your Wingers attack their defenders and steal the ball from them. Those two IFs will cut inside and make space for your Wingbacks, your AM is with attacking duty, and he is always going be there to try the through passes or to shoot and score a goal.
So far we didn`t have any tactic by Danwolf on FMBrotherhood, but this one deserved to be on this list. It is surely one of the most amazing FM20 tactics and when we tested it on FM 20.2.3 we won a lot of matches.442 Shaolin Hot-Wings FM20 tactic is suitable for clubs whose main goal is to win the title. With this tactic you will play modern, fast-flowing attacking football. The only players that won`t contribute the attack are going to be your CDs and Goalkeeper (Sweeper Keeper). So, yes, you will play total soccer like with the previous Knap`s tactic.
By those two CD`s you will have two Wingbacks with attacking duty, so they will be very helpful in those quick transitions from defense to attack, that you will see a lot. This tactic is a bit different from classic 4-4-2 tactics because midfield doesn`t have 2 CMs. You will have 2 Segundo Volantes instead, both with a Support duty.Wingers are also with attack duty. They will go forward and endanger the opponent`s defense and in the middle, there are two PFs with a Support duty to score goals or pass them into space so they could score.
We have tested this tactic with Verona in Italian Seria A, Proleter in Serbian Superleague, and Norwich in English Premier League. The results with all those clubs were fantastic! This tactic is using high tempo and direct passing, and we think that this is the main reason why it works with underdogs. You just need to buy two quality Advanced Forwards with high speed and nice finishing, and then you can expect this tactic to make wonders.
If you don`t want to use standard shaped formation you are at the right place mate. This tactic is in crazy formation, and if you are managing a high-quality team, this tactic is made for you.We have tested this Cerber V4 FM20 tactic with many teams. The results of our tests showed us that this tactic is built for good or top-quality teams, and it isn`t suitable for underdogs. As we already said this TFF`s tactic is perfect for top clubs. 2ff7e9595c
